Meet Your Hosts!

Sabrea

Hi! I’m Sabrea, the creator of SIMPLE IN NATURE. I am originally from Indiana but transplanted to Wisconsin back in 2005 and I absolutely LOVE this beautiful place! My husband and I have been together for 20 years and have two wildly energetic boys that are 12 and 8. Traveling is one of my greatest loves and I am also very much into healthy living, self-improvement, and spending as much time with friends and family as I can get!

SIMPLE IN NATURE was started in 2015 but became my full time gig in October 2020. Through this business I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many amazing small business owners. I have done hundreds of markets near and far over the years and the Market on the Mississippi events have always been my favorite! I am so excited to get to be a part of a team of small business women that will keep bringing new and exciting things to the La Crosse area!

Natasha

Helllloooo! I’m Natasha. Owner, creative mind and chandler of Velvet Couch Candle Co. I started my business in the spring of 2019. I absolutely love my job. Creating and making candles and wax melts that offer joy, peace, nostalgia and comfort in your home makes my heart happy.

After first being accepted as a vendor in this market, the magic of what it is was obvious to me. There’s something in the air that you feel as both a vendor and a shopper that is hard to beat. There is an energy in the room of excitement for the upcoming season, no matter which one. It brings joy to me to be able to have done this event as many times as I have and I want to continue to offer this event to makers and attendees alike. I was beyond excited that I (along with my partners in crime!) can bring that excitement to the event as it has been and continue in the tradition of what has become MOTM. I am thrilled to be able to continue to be a part of the tradition.

Destiny

Hey there! I’m Destiny, the girl behind Confluence Craft and Co. I'm a Midwest gal with a love for the outdoors and my two rescue pittie pups! By day, I’m a project manager, but by heart, I’m all about bringing people together.

The word confluence is about merging things together, and that's exactly what I aim to do with my brand: remind you that we’re all in this crazy life together. I kicked off this biz in 2021 with the vision to break through mental health barriers and to bring community together.

When the chance to host Market on the Mississippi came up, I couldn’t resist! My first vendor event was MOTM, and I fell in love with the way this event brings the community together and rallies around handmade artists. It’s so inspiring, and as hosts, we’re here to bring that same energy, plus a little extra flair, to showcase amazing Midwest talent! Can't wait to meet you!
